Another refurbishment was completed this month (June 2014) at Thistle Middlesbrough.

Whilst there was very little wrong with the sauna itself, customers often start to complain that the sauna is looking tired. Of course wood is a natural product which can be affected in many ways, and discolouration does occur over time.

We arrived on site just as the club opened at 7am.

Firstly we removed all of the components of the sauna, before reboarding the walls and ceiling in pine tongue and groove board. The heater was then moved back into position against the new masterboard.

With this complete it was just a matter of installing the benches, supports, infils and backrests, making sure they were all square.

After sweeping out the sauna and tidying away all of our equipment, it was time to add the lower infils.

All of our lower infils are removable meaning they can be taken off without the need of a screwdriver, to enable faster cleaning.

Once more, we were off site before 3pm.

We removed all of the waste back to our warehouse, where it was snapped up very quickly by a man with a log burning stove!

Great for us as we get to the beer garden faster in this glorious sunshine. Great for site as they can open up again before the evening rush!
