August was another busy month here at Reefgrove.
We completed the installation of a gorgeous cedar sauna in a new 5* hotel, just off London’s Oxford Street.
We are extremely proud of this sauna, as it is entirely made from cedar. The smell when seated in the sauna is amazing, and we think that the colour variations within the cedar make for a stunning looking product.
Working from a starting size of 8″ x 4″ timber, we machined all of the components for the sauna in-house. This means that we were able to construct everything, from the window and door frames, down to the internal beading, entirely from cedar.
Complete with a glazed front, and LED backrest lighting, we think this sauna is stunning, and the client agrees!
We completed the look with thermowood accessories (sandtimer and combined thermometer / hygrometer), which looks great against the cedar panelling.
